CMDN is pleased to have Karen Peters in her new role as Executive Director!

Hi Everyone! I grew up here in Maine in Owls Head. I attended the University of Maine at Farmington for my bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and Wheelock College for my master's degree in ECE and Leadership. I've been at CMDN for 17 years. Prior to being the Program Coordinator, I was a teacher in the Green, Orange and Purple classrooms. I began my career teaching at two other local, non-profit centers. I live in South Portland with my husband, our daughter (who just started high school! Yikes!) and our little dog. I am honored to be CMDN's Executive Director and look forward to continuing to work with all of you in this new role.
