CMDN's 100th ANNIVERSARY COLLABORATIVE ART PROJECT: CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS

We are so fortunate to be working with Priscilla Dreyman, formerly of Spiral Arts, to create an art wall made from individual tiles. The children will be working in their classrooms on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 - 11:30 throughout the month of February. Every child, regardless of age, will have an opportunity to make a tile. During the Family Festival (February 6th - with a snow date of February 13th), parents will also be able to make tiles with their children. Since they will be done in small groups, we don't anticipate that everyone will get a chance to complete one that night. But, we will keep the project going during the afternoons (schedule TBD) to get everyone who is interested an opportunity to participate. Children who don't attend CMDN on Tuesdays and Thursdays can absolutely come in and join a classroom to make a tile. Just let us know in advance. We will need parent volunteers on Tuesday and Thursday mornings in February and then again after the first stage of the tiles is completed so that glaze can be applied (not a child-job). Capozza Tile has donated their time for installation. Please let us know if you are interested in volunteering. You don't have to come every single Tuesday or Thursday, either.
