“We are very happy with all of our experiences here at CMDN, it is a very active, caring & nurturing environment.”

Safety & Nutrition

Keeping children of all ages safe and healthy is one of the most important tasks of childcare providers and we take it very seriously! From first aid training in emergency situations, to cleanliness, to providing a healthy environment for children, we take great pride in making sure every child in our care is happy and healthy.

For your peace of mind, we:

  • Secure our facility so that only authorized staff and families may enter.

  • Provide a safe and secure playground, so your child can enjoy outdoor play.

  • Use and keep up-to-date smoke detectors and fire extinguishers.

  • Employ all other types of safety equipment to ensure there are no undue hazards.

CMDN also adheres to the strictest health and cleanliness practices. All staff members are trained/certified in:

  • Pediatric First Aid

  • Pediatric CPR

  • Medication Administration

  • Proper Hygiene Practices

Proper nutrition is also an important part of our philosophy. We know we are contributing to healthy growth and development of your child!

  • We serve two nutritious meals a day (breakfast and lunch) and one healthy snack

  • Our meals conform to the guidelines set forth by the USDA Child and Adult Care Food Program

  • All food is cooked fresh on the premises each day

  • We select foods like you would: with careful consideration toward providing healthy, nutritious meals and emphasizing the importance of fresh vegetables and fruit

  • Individual arrangements are made for children with special dietary needs or allergies

  • All meals are served family style and children are encouraged to serve themselves
