Special Needs
Catherine Morrill serves children of all abilities. We work with specialists
and therapists to meet the needs of children who require additional assistance.
The Nursery initiates a referral process to
seek services for children requiring additional support during these very important
early years of development. The Nursery coordinates available services to
facilitate a highly personalized inclusive program for children with special needs.
As an example, identified children may receive developmental, speech,
physical, and/or occupational therapy individually or with peers at the Nursery.
Although the Nursery provides as many support services as possible, there may be
instances when it will be impossible to meet an individual child’s highly
specialized needs. The Nursery will support families through the referral
process to an appropriate setting if needed.
